Hindutvavadis make propaganda in the name of 'christian militants' spreading the rumor that they killed Swami Lakshmananda. VHP (and other hindutvavadi) leaders give bold speeches in the news proclaiming that they will not let any Christian live in Orissa (or
What a funny definition of militants? Are we open enough for understanding it clearer?
Mujahedeen gives the right definition of ‘militant’ by killing equal number of people. They remain unthreatened and equally powerful before and after committing genocides, in the name of Allah. VHP, RSS, Bajrang Dal and other oppressors feel brave by hurting Christians in the name of Hinduism - children and woman, pregnant ladies, old people, sick in hospital and common devotee of God (who believe through Christ).
Militants kill dozens of people and harm scores of Indians, VHP and other self-proclaimed 'saviors' do not open their mouth. Why? They do not retaliate nor do they oppose. The reason is plain and clear - both work on the same premise and have similar strategy - KILL PEOPLE TO PROVE YOURSELF. Mujahedeens are doing it in general, hindutvavadi's are doing it against Christians.
Rightly said by Karan Thapar in his article in Hindustan Times on 30th August about Christian genocide in Orissa - "Does the VHP have the right to speak for you or I? Do they reflect our views? Do we endorse their behaviour? They call themselves the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, but who says they represent all of us?".
And further he writes, "However, what's even worse is how the VHP responds to this matter. Periodically they resort to violence including outright murder. What happened to Graham Staines in Orissa was not unique. Last week it happened again. Apart from the utter and contemptible criminality of such behaviour, is this how we Hindus wish to behave? Is this how we want our faith defended? Is this how we want to be seen? I have no doubt the answer is no. An unequivocal, unchanging and ever-lasting NO!"
I ask the same question here - who gave the right to these hindutvavadis to represent common hindu. Who said that they represent the masses? Common hindu is free to choose any philosophy to follow as much as he is free to choose any food-dish to eat or any outfit to wear. I can extend the same for mujahedeens, who gave them the right to represent common Moslem (muslim). Who knows what goes on in the mind and heart of a common muslim when such a tragedy takes place?
Such attrocites, caused on common man, brings big question mark on the philosophy of these organizations and also demonstrate the powerlessness (or characterlessness) of our politicians.
We as common people, will we do something? Can we not push these extremists out of the boundaries or just bring their power to NULL? Why do we keep quite? Is it not the common man dying, by extremists - whether VHP (and others) or Mujahedeens?
We admire
Lets do our part. Not only by forwarding the emails, but by truely spreading the message of LOVE, PEACE and BROTHERHOOD irrespective of our caste, creed and religion. Discarding the philosophy and association with such extremist parties, whatsoever.
